Remembering the days when we hacked BzFlag client to achieve super-tank powers…ok, it was my contribute to trolling tradition.
It’s even more enjoable now, and there’s even less trolling around.
Basically you drive a tank, and gotta take out other guys. Depending on the arena, you are allowed to jump.
I know, tanks don’t jump, but jumping and turning in mid-air is definitely a blast.
You have a full set of weapons, but to use them you have to find the right flag…

Back in 1989, roughly at the same time I had my first PC (one event that would mark my subsequent life) I was reading in my county house “Le scienze” (the italian Scientific America edition) and the introduction of a Pulsar astronomical article had a little poem in it.
It was “Brilla Brilla mia stellina…”. I already had a telescope and was deeply impressed by the wonders of Sky. I still remember the little poem, as I managed to learn it by heart, and it also marked my life in a twisted way.
Years later, I didn’t become an astronomer, nor I did become a scientist, but I still remember the old little poem. Thanks to the net I also found the original, untraslated version.
